My Story - Part 2
(UPDATES)

It is now September in the year 2003 and I feel I need to add more information here. I now am legally the "Gamma" to 6 grandchildren. Plus then there are three for our friends daughter. So a total of 9 grandchildren call me 'Gamma Jill'.

Last year, 2002, was another nightmare for us. My second daughter, Jodie, had a car accident in May. (She ended up with stitches in her head.) While in the ER she found out that she was pregnant again. The father (from now on considered the Sperm Donor) was once again the same sperm donor who gave her her first son. She might have been older this time, but she was still not thinking about the consequences ahead of her.

This was the same sperm donor that never paid her a penny in child support. That wouldn't get a real job because he would be forced by the state to pay her. I don't know what she was thinking at the time, but it surely was not about how hard things were for her with just the one child. And now she was going to have 2 children.

Just before her accident both her and the sperm donor were arrested for hitting each other and for having pot in the apartment. It wasn't hers, but he had it there. And since she was the owner of the apartment, she was arrested for the pot also. Well, the accident caused even greater problems. Her car was totaled. So between her injuries and no vehicle, she couldn't go to work, so she lost her job. She then got evicted from the apartment building due to her arrest. So now she was pregnant, already had one son, no job, no home, and injured. She stayed with us a few days after leaving the hospital. While she was gone, her apartment was robbed and she lost a lot of valuables. To put it mildly, she literally was up the creek with no paddles.

Luckily, my older son had bought a house. So she moved into his basement. He and his wife (whom he is now divorced from) and daughter lived upstairs. And we had bought her a vehicle to get around with. She applied at lots of jobs and finally someone told her that she wasn't going to find any job while she was pregnant. They would want someone that wasn't going to be gone for six weeks within the first year of employment.

Well, it is now September 17, 2003 and she finally got a job two weeks ago. The vehicle that we bought for her died and she is buying a new car. I state it that way cause for the next 5 years she will be paying for it. She still lives with her brother and his daughter with her two sons. And the sperm donor still has no work, doesn't pay any child support, and didn't even show up for the birth of either of her sons. Luckily I was there for her and helped during the birth. I even had the honor and privilege to cut the umbilical cords during both the births. This is a very big highlight in my life.
